Today, ARTA is over 31,000 members strong and offers a long list of services, including one of the best retiree benefit plans in the country, advocacy on issues that affect retirees, and wellness supports that ensure a healthy, engaged, and vibrant lifestyle long into retirement.

We create erasable products: with a line of Learning boards, such as math frames, 100s charts, tracing shapes, letters, numbers - they're great for loose parts as well. We also have a line of coloring mats which are great for centres and free time. The boards are easily cleaned and can even be sanitized!

We also have our own line of chalk markers, chalk crayons and also supply stabilo products. Stabilo has markers that caps can be left off for up to 8 weeks (GREAT for classrooms!). As well as the woody 3-1 pencil crayons.

Vacant Lots Farm Club

Vacant Lots Farm Club is a non-profit urban farm that helps Calgarians wellbeing, by growing food and flowers to share. We convert vacant lots into therapeutic growing spaces, through practical volunteer work. Our goal is to promote outdoor, nature based healing experiences.

Vacant lots around the city sit empty as they await future development. We see a better way. Activating vacant lots can improve community health, neighbourhood beautification, and biodiversity. The book, Healing Landscapes outlines the importance of these types of spaces, and states that "overwhelming research now links nature contact with positive mental and physical health and social outcomes. Healing landscapes provide the necessary nature contact. By combining new scientific evidence and ancient intuitive wisdom the potential of a healing landscape can be realised." (Gayle Souter-Brown Urban Health: Applying Therapeutic Landscape Design. Methods, Design Strategies and New Scientific Approaches).

Our farm plan includes areas like a sensory garden, wildflower meadows, perennial food shelterbelt, and production gardens. We will be offering school field trips, where every visit will be curated to suit your group and curriculum. For the 2024 season our founders, Jack and Diane, will lead these sessions. The field trip will highlight farm features and engage you in seasonal activities that provide an array of educational experiences. Outdoor experiences range from mindfulness training, nature appreciation, to environmental awareness and working in the garden.

Our farm is a place about cultivating positive change. It is not about how much food or flowers we grow, it is about how you feel when you are there. We want to encourage citizens of all ages to engage with urban landscapes in a new way. We want to showcase the abundance that can flourish in these landscapes and the healing that can take place.

Our core values of compassion, optimism, integrity and taking a 1000 year view, speaks to our belief that we can design a greener, more intentional future. We are looking for teachers, parents, students, community leaders, and ambitious citizens to join our club!

Inter-Varsity Pioneer Camp Alberta has years of experience working with teachers and schools to provide educational, fun-filled day and overnight trips for students in elementary, junior high and high school. Come to Pioneer Camp in Sundre or Rocky Mountain House, AB and experience a fun-filled and educational time. The Sinneave Family Foundation (Sinneave) works with individuals, communities, and organizations to improve education, employment, and housing outcomes for autistic youth and adults.

For educators, this means we provide information, programs and resources designed specifically to support autistic and neurodivergent high school students as they consider their options after high school.

Our goal is to see autistic Albertans find success in their educational pursuits, be able to get and keep a job, and live as independently as possible as valued members of their communities.

The AMA School Garden Studio is a private online gathering place and resource library for teachers to share ideas, ask questions, have access to experts and generally feel supported. We are Calgary's only dance studio that specializes in Hip Hop and Streetdance. The purpose of an exhibition booth is to provide teachers with key strategies, training opportunities and tools to support students with autism and other developmental disabilities in their classroom. Services and products that will be on display will include:

A workshop series brochure with information regarding 3 Modules (Educating Students with autism in the Classroom, Ways to Implement Positive Behaviour Management within Naturally Occurring Teaching Situations, and Teaching Replacement Behaviours).

A Quick Tips handout (highlighting Power of Reinforcements, Prompting Hierarchy, and How to Build Learner Cooperation).

A Take-away of ready-to-use materials (such as Token Economy Boards for student or group, visual tools of what students can do on breaks/reminders of expected behaviours/choice boards, Social Stories to proactively support anxious students).

Theme-based bins/packages for students with grades 1 to 4 developmental level (for core subjects Math and Language Arts which includes instructions and the activities such as file folders, flash cards, and objects, for Language, Communication, and Socialization Development (LCSD)through Fine Motor multi-usage activities supporting morning routines, transition times, and breaks/leisure times to support regulation and appropriate on-task behaviours).
